Thai Massage Workshop – A Fundraiser for Bread for Life of Southington.
Come learn while giving and receiving a simple form of bodywork that has been practiced in Thailand for centuries. It is a fully clothed massage performed on a mat on the floor. This unique healing system is based on Ayurveda and Yoga.
The giver gently guides the recipient through a series of slow gently range of motion movements while working along the body’s energy lines and stretching the muscles. Thai massage is often called “Lazy Person’s Yoga” where someone else does your yoga for your while you just relax and receive the benefits.
Come with a partner, friend, family or alone.
No Thai massage experience necessary but kneeling for a period of time and the ability to get on and off the floor is a must!!!
Please wear loose comfortable clothing or yoga clothes. Mats and blankets will be supplied but feel free to bring your own.
