For the past three years, Lincoln College students have their commitment to Bread for Life by conducting numerous food collections. “Students wanted to help those who have less but wanted to give more than just collect food,” said Eldon Hafford, Bread for Life executive director. Thus, when members of the Student Government Association staffed a table outside Stop & Shop on Dec. 5, they also distributed information about the local food program that provides daily meals not only at a soup kitchen but to residents who are homebound or live in senior housing.

“It was a very successful morning with many pounds of food donated,” said Kaitlyn Fogg, president of the Lincoln College Student Government Association.
